Which systems should be separated?

• CVT, D-CVT, IVT and e-CVT are not the same mechanism; identify belt/chain, planetary, motor-generator and hydraulic architecture.

Evidence collection sequence

1. Capture first/last fault time, engine temperature, load, rpm, speed and system voltage.
2. Verify power/ground and network communication under load; compare commanded value with actual response.
3. Recreate the operating condition after repair and prove the symptom does not return.

Risk of false generalization

• Wrong fluid/procedure or transmission-family identity distorts fault and fitment diagnosis.
